Booking your place

Each workshop listing shows its date, start and end times, venue, ticket price, and available seats. Your seat is confirmed after payment succeeds.

Changes & cancellations

The policy below applies to paid workshop tickets.

To cancel a ticket, email [email protected] with your order reference and the email address used at checkout. If you lost the reference, send your Stripe payment receipt or the checkout email address so we can find the order. The time we receive your request determines the refund window, measured against the published workshop start time in the workshop's local time zone.

• At least 7 days before the start: a full refund of the ticket amount paid.
• Less than 7 days but at least 48 hours before the start: a 50% refund of the ticket amount paid.
• Less than 48 hours before the start, or after the workshop starts: no routine refund.

Workshop updates

If BotSpot cancels a workshop or materially changes its date, time, or venue, you may request a full refund. Contact us at the same address. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method; your payment provider determines when the credit appears.

Physical products

Board sales are on hold. We will publish physical-product return and defective-item instructions before accepting product orders.

Browsing and your cart

BotSpot is not accepting online orders yet. You can browse the catalog without an account. Your cart and any unfinished checkout attempt are stored in your browser so you can return to them.

Payments and orders

When checkout opens, Stripe will process payments and collect the details needed to complete them, including your email address, name, and billing details. We will receive the payment and order information needed to confirm the purchase, admit workshop participants, handle support and refunds, and maintain transaction records. Physical orders may also require a shipping address. BotSpot does not receive your full card number.

Hosting and checkout verification

Cloudflare hosts the site and API and provides a checkout verification challenge. The API uses a keyed hash of your network address to limit abusive checkout attempts; the checkout record stores the hash rather than the address itself.

Contact and group enquiries

When you submit an enquiry, we store your name, email, message, and group size if provided so authorized staff can respond. A Cloudflare verification challenge and a keyed hash of your network address help limit spam. An enquiry does not book or reserve a workshop.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand visits to public pages. It may use cookies and collect approximate location and browser or device information. Analytics is excluded from the cart, checkout, and payment-return pages. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Records and questions

We keep order and support information for as long as needed to provide the service, handle payment disputes, and meet recordkeeping obligations. For questions about your information or to request access, correction, or deletion where available, email [email protected].
